U12 BBF Shield recap
In the inaugural playing of the U12 BBF Shield, pool play ended with the Firebirds defeating the Atom Smashers in a 1-0 classic pitching duel, setting up a rematch for the final. The Atom Smashers had their revenge in the final, winning 9-3 to take home the first-ever U12 BBF Shield.
U12 recap
The two semi-finals were fiercely contested among Herts, Mets and LYBL. LYBL managed to prevail in both to set up an all-LYBL final, with one ending 3-1 and the other a comeback, walk-off 7-6 win. The final was equally as competitive, ending 6-5. LYBL thus retained its U12 championship title; Herts won the 3/4 game to take third place in the division.
