Arrows crowned NBL regular season champions
Essex Arrows clinched the regular season NBL title after shutting out Sheffield Bruins 12-0 at Grovehill Park on Sunday.

The victory included home runs by Angel Perez, Yonathan Novas and Jorge Wilhelm as the Arrows offense took charge from the go.
Perez also hit a triple while Novas hit a double to round off a great afternoon for the outfielders.
The Arrows used three pitcher to shut out the Bruins and cement their place at the top of the table
For the Bruins, a 12-2 win over BC Vetra, who had earlier pushed London Mets but lost 8-7 on a passed ball walk off, confirmed their spot in the play offs.

BBF AAA Playoffs
A dramatic hit by pitch walk off saw the Essex Saxons sneak past Bracknell Inferno 13-12 in a dramatic AAA Wild Card.
Bracknell were 2-10 down at the top of the ninth but scored 10 runs to move to a two run lead before the Saxons showed great discipline to get the three runs needed.
The Saxons will now play Herts Cardinals next Saturday in the quaifier.
